CHIRON, the Australian darkwave/post-punk act, has released a new album: A Dark Beauty.The band was founded by Michael Aliani, former lead vocalist of IKON. His bandmates are Dino Molinaro (IKON, bass/cello) and Ivan Bullock (electric guitar). Their music was shaped by the legacy of Joy Division and early New Order.This album marks a bold evolution in CHIRON’s sound. While known for blending darkwave, post-punk, and electronic music, it now ventures into modern and progressive territories as well. The result is a rich tapestry of thick, brooding atmospheres, driving basslines, cinematic textures, downtuned guitars, pulsing rhythms, and haunting, intimate vocals. The album feels both expansive and deeply personal.
